To do this, turn on the ignition, use your centralized button to enter the digits, several quick presses (example: 2 for digit 2) then a stop of one and a half seconds to validate the digit and resume, repeat the operation until you have entered the full code. This should allow your Nissan Cabstar to start without having to remove the immobiliser.

My old D2 has been playing up for a while, intermittently failing to start at the turn of the key. As expected, the flashing red immobiliser light on the bottom part of the dash stops it's regular flashing when I insert the key into the ignition and turn to the first position. The spider looks after two functions, to enable cranking and starting and the fuel supply, I assume the cranking part is okay, so the fuel stop requires a permanent 12v to open it during cranking and while the engine is running, therefore try a temporary supply from the battery to the fuel stop solenoid and crank the engine
This is the Land Rover Defender immobiliser / security control unit found behind the speaker on the dashboard, the unit is held in with 2 x torx screws, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REMOVE THE WHOLE DASHBOARD. Up to 2000 there is a chip in the plip that turns off immobilizer when it is close to ignition barrel ( red light on instrument cluster go's out). The Immobiliser can be disabled by carrying out one of the following actions: Immediately open the door, insert the key in the ignition switch and turn the switch to position II. If the ignition switch is not turned to position II within 30 seconds of the end of the 5 minute wait, the engine is automatically immobilised again.
